Glaze Color

Glaze is suitable for the surface color of internal or external wall tiles, sanitary ceramic, brick, and daily use ceramic. Under Glaze decoration, is suitable for different glazes. Mixing the different pigment can get multiple colors. Fire temperature range - 1200°C to 1300°C. The component of the basic glaze, the firing atmosphere, the choice of emulsion, will affect the color of pigment in glaze. The user must control strictly the material of the body.

High Fire: High fire glaze colors were developed using a 3% pigment loading in a clear cone 8 glaze (90%) with opacifier included (10%). Representative tiles were fired at 1200˚C with a 1-hour dwell time.

Low Fire: Low fire glaze colors were developed using 3% pigment loading in a clear cone 2 glaze (90%) with a pacifier included (10%). Representative tiles were fired at 1090˚C with a 12-minute dwell time.
